Most studios, us included, don't actually sell album design as a standalone service — it comes wrapped into a wedding photography package, and the real price depends on which package you book and how many albums you need. Here's how it actually breaks down.

Not every OOAK package comes with an album

This is the part people usually don't expect: our Essential package (Rs.75,000 — one lead photographer, 500+ edited photos, full-day coverage, online gallery, digital delivery) does not include a printed album. It's built for couples who mainly want the digital files and are happy to order prints or an album separately, later, once they've decided what they actually want.

Step up to Premium (Rs.1,50,000) and a premium album comes with it, alongside two photographers, 1000+ edited photos, a 4K cinematic film, and a same-day edit reel shown at the reception. Luxury (Rs.2,50,000) doubles the album — two premium albums — plus three photographers, 2000+ edited photos, drone coverage, a pre-wedding shoot, and multi-day coverage for weddings that run across several functions.

What if you just need an extra album?

Plenty of Premium and Luxury couples still want one more album beyond what's included — a copy for each set of parents is the usual reason. That's handled as a straightforward add-on: a 40-page album is Rs.12,000 and up, priced on top of whatever package you've already booked. Want more pages than the standard 40, a heavier cover, or a specific size? What actually changes the price of an album

• Page count. More spreads means more printing and binding. Forty pages is a comfortable fit for a single-day wedding; multi-function weddings — engagement, haldi, muhurtham, reception — usually need more to do the whole event justice.
• Cover material and finish. A linen or leatherette cover costs less than a personalised leather or acrylic one.
• Print quality. Archival, fade-resistant paper costs more than standard matte or glossy prints, but it's what keeps the colours honest twenty years from now instead of yellowing in a cupboard.
• How many albums, not just how big. One album for the couple is standard in Premium and Luxury; a second copy for parents, a guest book, or a mini travel album are all separate line items.

How the design actually happens

Once your wedding is shot and the photos are fully edited, we put together a first layout from your best frames and share it with you online — you're not picking from a shortlist we made in isolation, you're looking at an actual draft. You and your partner go through it together, swap out anything you don't love, reorder spreads, and sign off before anything goes to print. That approval step is non-negotiable on our end; the album that ships is the one you actually said yes to.

Does the album price include editing?

Yes. The photos in your album come from your fully edited, colour-graded set — there's no separate "album editing" line item on top of that.

Can I add pages after I've approved the design?

You can, but it usually costs more than planning for the extra pages upfront, since part of the layout has to be redone and the album reprinted rather than just extended.

Do I need to book a full package to get an album designed?

For us to design and print your album, it needs to sit inside a package we've shot — Essential plus the album add-on, Premium, or Luxury. We work from our own edited files, so we don't design albums from photography shot by another studio.
